This is the blend that adorned Meat Mitch's 1st-place, World Championship-winning beef at the Memphis in May World Barbecue Championships. A beef-first rub from the Kansas City comp team, built to make steak and brisket sing.

The flavour

Savoury and beef-focused — chilli pepper, paprika and turmeric warmth over a lightly sweetened, salted base. Rounded and moreish rather than hot.

Perfect on

Brisket, steaks, beef short ribs and burgers. Anywhere beef needs a deep, savoury crust.

A warm-toned beef rub with a medium grind — layers into a rich, dark bark. Mild heat.
