A good chicken rub earns its keep every week, and this is one you'll wear out. Built to season a whole butterflied bird or a tray of wings, The Chicken Rub delivers savoury depth and crackling skin without ever fighting the meat.
The flavour
Savoury and herby with a warm, gently spiced backbone and just a whisper of heat. Balanced for poultry — enough character to make the skin sing, restrained enough to let the bird taste like the bird.
How to cook with it
- Butterfly a whole bird, season all over, and roast or smoke until the skin cracks.
- Toss wings before they hit the grill or oven.
- Season a breast and sear for a quick, savoury midweek dinner.
- Slow-cook seasoned thighs until they fall apart.

We ship across Australia and to New Zealand. Shipping within Australia is a flat rate of $10 AUD, with the option to upgrade to Express at checkout. Orders to New Zealand are calculated by weight and shown at checkout. Orders are processed within 24 hours and typically shipped the next business day.
