Hot honey earned its hype for a reason, and the Four Saucemen bottled the best of it in a shaker. NZ manuka honey powder brings the sweetness, a gentle chilli brings the hum, and together they turn chicken, pork and ribs sticky, glossy and moreish.

The flavour

Sweet and honeyed up front, warm garlic through the middle, then a slow, gentle chilli heat on the finish — more cosy warmth than fire. The manuka gives it a rounded, almost caramel depth that sets beautifully under heat.

How to cook with it

• Dust wings, then glaze late with the matching Manuka Hot Honey Rib Glaze for double the sticky.
• Season pork ribs and cook low and slow until lacquered and tacky.
• Rub pork belly or chicken thighs for a sweet-hot, caramelised skin.
• Use it as an all-purpose finisher anywhere you want sweet heat.

In the shaker

A warm amber blend with visible chilli flecks and a soft, honeyed aroma; medium grind that melts into a sticky glaze as it cooks.
