Rich & Woodsy Rub for Game & Lamb

The world's first "Lamb and Game Rub" and in our opinion, still the best.

Both lamb and game meats share an iron-rich palate with common fatty acids that are very different from beef, pork or chicken.

To balance these, we get away from the typical paprika based recipes and also avoid being just an herb and salt rub. This isn't your typical Sunday roast. We sought to make the most of the smoking or grilling processes to accentuate the flavour of these meats, using a base of papilla (a dark capsicum with slight heat), with native salts, a touch of brown sugar, thyme.

There's also juniper, a unique flavour from our German-American heritage that has a sharpness to helps balance out the iron.

Australian bush herbs provide extra flavour from the land where these animals grazed Works on lamb, venison, kangaroo, and actually does a nice job on beef too.

Comes with the 'Chilli Sidekick' packet inside so you can set your own heat level.
